Speaking at the party’s 109th National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja, he said political power is won through effort and determination, not handed over freely.
The former Rivers State governor reminded party members that electoral success requires commitment and sacrifice.
He cited his own political journey as proof that major victories often come after long struggles and legal challenges.
Wike also advised candidates to focus on delivering results for the party in their constituencies rather than relying on others.
He urged members to return to their communities, mobilise support and contribute to the PDP’s chances in the next election cycle.
He dismissed concerns over rival PDP factions, saying the party’s legitimacy would become clear during candidate submissions to INEC.
Wike further encouraged members to remain fearless in the face of political pressure and stay focused on rebuilding the party.
