Oyo APC Commends Peaceful Primary Process
The All Progressives Congress in Oyo State has praised its members for the calm and orderly conduct during the party’s recent primary elections.
The party said the process showed unity and discipline among members across the state.
The party’s spokesperson, Olawale Sadare, said in Ibadan that while some aspirants raised concerns, no member would be ignored in the party’s decision-making process.
He added that the leadership remains open to addressing complaints from stakeholders.
According to the party, the successful conduct of the governorship primary and other contests marked an important step in its preparations for future elections.
It said the exercise reflected efforts to strengthen internal democracy within the APC.
The party also announced plans for reconciliation after the primaries, noting that all members are expected to work together ahead of the 2027 elections.
It expressed confidence in delivering strong support for its candidates and securing victory in upcoming polls.
