The minister said the FCT Administration is focusing on areas like infrastructure, security, education, and economic growth.

He pointed to sectors such as housing, tourism, agriculture, and waste management as key opportunities. He also described Abuja as open for business and ready for deeper international collaboration.

During the session, Wike explained that reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are aimed at improving the economy and governance.

He noted changes in taxation, foreign exchange policy, and social support programmes.

He also addressed security concerns, linking them to wider regional threats in West Africa. Still, he said steps are being taken to improve safety through better coordination and technology.

The minister urged EU countries to work closely with the FCT to drive growth and stability in Nigeria’s capital.
