The group said its decision followed an “evidence-based assessment” of their performance.
The forum explained that its position reflects a review of governance outcomes rather than political sentiment.
It said both leaders have shown results through policy actions and leadership approach, describing the endorsement as a decision built on “a reasoned, evidence-based endorsement of two leaders whose stewardship, courage, and reform-driven governance have altered the trajectory of Nigeria and Rivers State, respectively.”
On the federal level, the group said the administration met a weak economy in 2023 but introduced reforms such as subsidy removal, exchange rate changes, and tax measures.
It added that the policies have driven growth, improved reserves, and boosted investor confidence, while admitting that the changes came with challenges.
On Rivers State, the forum said the governor managed political tension while pushing development projects in roads, healthcare, and agriculture.
It maintained that both leaders should continue their programmes, warning that policy disruption could slow progress, and reaffirmed support for their re-election bids.
