They described daily life as difficult across many regions, with insecurity, poverty, and rising costs affecting ordinary people.

The groups said communities in parts of the North and Middle Belt are being emptied by violence, while families in cities struggle to survive.

The coalition blamed economic decisions such as subsidy removal and currency changes, saying they have not improved living standards.

They also pointed to rising cases of kidnapping and warned that “nationwide industry” now defines the crisis, with farmers displaced and food prices climbing. Concerns were also raised over shrinking civic space, with claims that critics and protesters are being silenced.

The groups called for immediate action, including better security coordination, economic relief, and reforms ahead of 2027.
