The rollout is already underway in selected federal universities, with authorities working to integrate the programme into academic structures.

It is designed to prepare students for self-employment and reduce reliance on scarce white-collar jobs.

Officials said the initiative will be expanded to cover all federal universities by 2027.

The plan will then extend further to include all federal tertiary institutions by 2028, widening access to the programme nationwide.

The government believes the scheme will boost entrepreneurship, drive innovation and create more job opportunities for young people, as institutions begin to focus more on skills that support business creation.
