PDP Elders Call For Unity
The Peoples Democratic Party Board of Trustees has called for unity and caution as the party prepares for key decisions ahead of its national convention.
The message was delivered during the 107th National Executive Committee meeting.
Chairman of the board, Mao Ohuabunwa, praised the successful conduct of recent congresses and urged members to support the ongoing electronic registration aimed at improving transparency and strengthening internal democracy.
He also appealed to party leaders to handle sensitive issues such as zoning with fairness and openness, stressing the need to put collective interest above personal or regional considerations.
The party leadership, including Nyesom Wike, was urged to maintain unity and work towards building a stronger and more cohesive party capable of meeting national expectations.
