Turaki PDP Faction Fires Back At APC Spokesman

The factional national working committee of the Peoples Democratic Party led by Kabiru Turaki has criticised remarks made by Felix Morka, the national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress, accusing him of spreading “delusional propaganda”.

The response followed comments made by Morka during an appearance on the television programme The Morning Show on Arise TV, where he claimed that the PDP had effectively ceased to function as a political party due to internal disputes and recent defections.

In its reaction, the Turaki-led faction dismissed the claim and insisted that the PDP remains active and organised despite challenges within its ranks.

The group argued that attempts to portray the opposition party as collapsed were misleading.

Party officials from the faction also maintained that the PDP continues to play a key role in Nigeria’s political landscape, warning that narratives about its decline are being pushed for political advantage.
