The politician marked his departure from the PDP by handing over his party membership card to ward leaders.

The card was received by the Tikau ward chairman, Samaila Jalamawa, alongside the ward secretary, while other local party officials were also present at the event.

Tikau was later welcomed into the ADC and issued a membership card by Babangida Dagare, who represented the party’s state chairman.

Several ward officials, including youth and organising leaders, attended the gathering as the former PDP chieftain formally joined his new political platform.

The former executive secretary of the National Primary Education Commission said his decision followed consultations with supporters and allies.

He explained that the move was aimed at exploring new political options that could support development in his community and across the state ahead of future elections.
