Kano Governor Sends Warnings To Cabinet Members
Kano State governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has cautioned members of the State Executive Council against disloyalty, internal rivalry and the leaking of government information.
The warning was issued during the 38th Executive Council meeting, where the governor urged cabinet members to remain united and focused on the goals of the administration.
Yusuf said recent political developments influenced his decision to align with the All Progressives Congress, explaining that the move was aimed at strengthening cooperation with the federal government for the benefit of the state.
He also disclosed that five commissioners had resigned following the political realignment, noting that four stepped down after declining to join the move to the APC.
The governor further announced the removal of the state Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, and confirmed the appointment of Bilkisu Shehu Maimota as acting Head of Service, urging her to promote discipline and professionalism within the civil service.
