Tinubu Halts Airport Cashless Payment

President Bola Tinubu has ordered the suspension of the cashless payment system at airport toll gates after severe traffic jams left travellers stranded and missing flights.

The directive was announced in Abuja by Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo following a Federal Executive Council meeting.

The decision comes just days after the electronic system was introduced by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria to replace decades of cash collection.
