Umahi Fires Back At Sexual Harrasement Allegations
The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has denied claims that he made advances towards a woman and failed to repay money linked to campaign spending, saying the accusation has no basis.
The allegation was raised by a businesswoman, Tracyniter Nicholas Ohiri, who publicly accused the minister of sexual harassment and unpaid financial obligations tied to a business deal.
Her claims later led to her arraignment on a defamation charge.
Umahi rejected the story in its entirety and insisted he had done nothing wrong.
He maintained that the claims were false and part of an attempt to tarnish his image.
The matter is now before the court, where legal arguments are expected to determine the facts surrounding the dispute and the defamation case filed against the businesswoman.
