Close Voting Contest Inside Kuje Prison Unit
In Kuje Area Council, voters at Polling Unit 038 located within the Prison Command cast their ballots during the ongoing council elections, producing a close result among three political parties.

The Peoples Democratic Party led the count with 22 votes, while the All Progressives Congress followed closely with 17 votes, and the African Democratic Congress secured 5 votes.
The outcome emerged after voting concluded and officials sorted and counted the ballots at the unit in the presence of party agents and observers.
Though the margin was narrow, the figures from the prison polling unit added to the broader results being collated across Kuje as residents await the final declaration.
