NNPP Demands Probe Into Terrorism Claim
The New Nigeria Peoples Party has called on the Presidency and the National Security Adviser to publicly clear Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of alleged links to terrorism.
The party said the accusation is damaging and must be addressed without delay.
In a statement, NNPP officials described the claim as false and politically motivated.
They urged security authorities to investigate the source of the allegation and set the record straight to prevent misinformation from spreading.
The party maintained that Kwankwaso has consistently spoken against violence and remains committed to lawful political engagement.
It warned that unverified claims could inflame tensions and distract from pressing national issues.
The NNPP added that a prompt clarification from the appropriate authorities would help restore public confidence and protect democratic discourse.
