South Africa Restores Power to Nigerian Mission
Electricity supply has been restored to the Nigerian High Commission in Pretoria after the mission cleared outstanding municipal service charges, the City of Tshwane has confirmed.
The city said power was reconnected after payment was made, ending the blackout that affected operations at the diplomatic mission.
Officials noted that the action followed standard procedures applied to all customers with unpaid bills.
The restoration brings normal services back to the Nigerian High Commission and eases concerns raised earlier over the disruption caused by the power cut.
