APC Releases Dates For Congress And Convention

The All Progressives Congress has released a fresh timetable for its nationwide congresses and national convention, laying out plans to elect party officials from ward level to the national leadership.

The schedule was issued from the party’s national secretariat in Abuja and covers activities across all states and geopolitical zones.

Membership e-registration is expected to begin at the end of January 2026, while ward and local government congresses are planned for February, leading into state congresses in early March.

Zonal congresses are fixed for late March across the six geopolitical zones, with venues spread across Ibadan, Enugu, Rivers or Cross River, Kaduna, Gombe or Bauchi, and Nasarawa.

The party’s national convention is scheduled to hold over two days at the end of March 2026.

Alongside the dates, the APC announced fees for nomination and expression of interest forms at all levels.

The party said female aspirants, youths and persons with disabilities will pay the full expression of interest fee and half of the nomination fee for any position.
