Atiku’s daughter, Hafsat Atiku, was joined in marriage to Umar Farouk Imam during one of the ceremonies. The union was conducted in the presence of close relatives and associates of the former vice president.
The marriage was officiated by General Aliyu Gusau, a long-time ally and family friend of Atiku. His role added a familiar presence to the occasion, reflecting the close ties within the family’s circle.
On the same day, Atiku’s son, Abubakar Atiku Jr, also tied the knot with Asma’u Abdul’aziz Nyako. Both weddings were held quietly but attracted attention due to the prominence of the families involved.
