Minna Lecturer Dies During Visit to Student

A 53-year-old lecturer, Abdulfatai Aiyede, reportedly passed away while visiting a young woman’s residence in Minna, Niger State. The incident occurred on January 27, 2026, around 10 a.m., according to the Niger State Police Command.

Aiyede, originally from Bida, had gone to see a 25-year-old nursing student, Stella Joseph. During the visit, he reportedly ate a meal served by the woman, after which he began to convulse and collapsed.
