The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has approved the promotion of more than 2,000 staff of the Federal Capital Territory Administration and the Federal Capital Development Authority.

The Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission, Emeka Ezeh, said the move reflects the administration’s support for staff growth and steady career advancement within the FCT civil service.
He added that promotion exams will continue to be held when due, encouraged workers to prepare ahead for the 2025 and 2026 exercises, and confirmed that computer-based tests will remain the standard to strengthen the digital process approved by the minister.
