The Osun State Government has suspended all official dealings with the National Youth Council of Nigeria in the state following a dispute linked to the handling of government support items meant for youths.

The action follows allegations around the sharing of 20 bags of rice provided by the state, which sparked tension between youth leaders and the Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Moshood Olagunju.

The government said the suspension will remain until the probe is completed, adding that it is also acting in line with earlier federal directives concerning the youth council. Officials assured residents that steps are being taken to restore order and ensure accountability in youth-related affairs across the state.
