The National Industrial Court in Abuja has stopped resident doctors from going ahead with their planned strike set for January 12.

The ruling followed an application filed by the Federal Government and the Attorney General of the Federation. Justice Emmanuel Subilim granted the request after reviewing documents presented by government lawyers during an emergency hearing.
