The meeting brought together key figures from both sides, including members of their leadership teams, party officials, and former Niger State governor Babangida Aliyu.

INEC stepped in due to concerns that the internal dispute could affect party administration, compliance with electoral rules, and preparations for future elections.

The meeting is aimed at finding common ground, restoring order within the party, and ensuring that the PDP operates in line with electoral guidelines as political activities continue nationwide.
