After diplomatic engagement and clearance by Burkinabe authorities, the air force personnel were allowed to proceed with their assignment.

The same aircraft involved in the emergency landing was cleared for flight, enabling the crew to continue the mission without replacement.

The Nigerian Air Force said the outcome reflects ongoing cooperation between regional partners and reaffirmed its commitment to safety, professionalism, and mission continuity.
