Director-General of the group, Musa Ladan Sokoto, said the governor had shown strong leadership since taking office, transforming the state through various projects aimed at improving the lives of residents. He noted that every local government area in Sokoto now has at least one completed or ongoing project covering roads, schools, hospitals, water supply, and electricity.

The youths also praised the governor’s commitment to workers’ welfare, citing the implementation of the new minimum wage, regular salary payments, and settlement of outstanding gratuities for retirees.

They commended his support for religious institutions, including the regular allowances given to Imams and Na’ibs, and his promotion of Islamic activities that strengthen moral values across the state.

On security, the group said the governor’s administration had improved coordination among security agencies and provided better logistics to curb banditry and other crimes, making Sokoto safer and more stable.

The coalition further applauded the government’s youth empowerment and entrepreneurship initiatives, which they said had helped many young traders, artisans, and small business owners to succeed.

As a show of appreciation, Ladan announced that the youths had resolved to buy the governor’s nomination and expression of interest forms when the 2027 elections draw closer, describing it as a gesture of loyalty and gratitude for his service to the state.

He reaffirmed the group’s commitment to supporting the government’s development agenda, adding that the youths were determined to help build a Sokoto that stands for peace, prosperity, and opportunity for all.
