Members of the All Progressives Congress in Enugu State have erupted in celebration following confirmation that Governor Peter Mbah will officially defect to the ruling party.

The APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, announced that the governor will be formally received into the party on Tuesday next week at a ceremony scheduled to take place in Enugu, the Coal City. Mbah is expected to join alongside his aides and political supporters.
