APC Youths Back Tinubu Leadership And Calls For Party Unity

The National All Progressives Congress Youth Coalition has declared support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, praising his leadership style and reforms in governance.

The group made its position known after a meeting in Abuja, where it assessed the state of the party and the nation under the current administration.

According to the coalition, Tinubu has shown strong leadership by quickly putting together a team to tackle the economic and political challenges he met on assumption of office. They said his approach has not only kept the party stable but also set Nigeria on a path of growth through decisive reforms.

The youths noted that the APC, which had faced internal divisions in the past, has now been repositioned under Tinubu’s guidance. They described the President’s handling of party affairs as a boost to its dominance in the political space, while also pointing to his economic policies as key steps toward long-term stability.

In their communiqué, the youth leaders expressed satisfaction with policies that they believe favour young people. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting credible leaders within the Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that youth inclusion remains a priority for sustainable governance.

The group also extended recognition to Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo for what they described as inclusive leadership, and celebrated Ambassador Julius Aluebhosele for his contributions as a grassroots mobiliser and philanthropist.

Looking ahead, the coalition urged the national leadership of the APC to zone the position of National Vice Chairman (South-South) to Edo State. They called on party members to rally behind Aluebhosele for the role, describing him as a capable representative of youth interests.

The meeting ended with renewed calls for unity within the APC, as the youths pledged continued support for the Tinubu administration and its vision for Nigeria’s development.
