Okpebholo Names Campaign DG And Others As Commissioner Nominees In Edo

Governor Monday Okpebholo has sent a list of commissioner nominees to the Edo State House of Assembly, with Charity Amayaenvbo, the Director General of the All Progressives Congress campaign in the recent Ovia Federal Constituency by-election, topping the list.

The list, released by Secretary to the State Government Musa Ikhilor, also includes Hon Vincent Uwadiae, Hon Etin-osa Ogbewei, Hon Saturday Uwuilekhue, and Professor Roland Otaru (SAN). The nominees will undergo screening and confirmation by the state assembly.

Amayaenvbo, described as a grassroots politician and financial expert, previously served as Executive Director at the Edo State Internal Revenue Service, overseeing income taxes, and also held the position of Executive Director on Local Government Restructuring and Monitoring.
