New Year Message: Kolawole tasks Ekiti PDP on Unity; Chides Fayemi over Insecurit

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Otunba Bisi Kolawole has admonished members and friends of the party in the state to unite and work in one accord in the new year preparatory to ousting the locust All Progressives Congress administration in the state.

In his new year message titled “One United PDP, Our Best Bet”, Kolawole said the time to eschew internal rancour, embrace reconciliation and shift grounds is now, stressing that “moving as one house against the APC as we gear up for the political season is the way to go”.

“There is no doubt PDP remains the choice of Ekiti people, that is why they needed to unleash their instruments of repression and suppression to muscle us in the last election. The APC administration has been in office in the last two years yet they have remained as unpopular as they were in day one.
“The good people of Ekiti State are trusting our party to take away their pains and agony come 2022, we cannot afford to let them down. The time to put away our differences and work in the interest of the long suffering people of Ekiti is now”,the message read.
Condemning the failure of the Fayemi administration to protect the lives of Ekiti people from kidnappers, robbers and thugs in year 2020, Kolawole called on the government of the day to live up to its responsibility of securing lives and properties of her citizens.
