Kolawole preaches Peace, Unity amongst Party members

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Ekiti State, Otunba Bisi Kolawole has called on members of the party in the state to in the spirit of what the month of the birth of Jesus Christ represents eschew all divisive tendencies in the party and embrace peace, harmony and unity.

Kolawole said all that is needed to send the clueless ruling All Progressives Congress out of Ekiti and indeed Nigeria is the demonstration of unity of purpose amongst members of the PDP.

According to a statement made available to newsmen by his Special Adviser on Media, Bola Agboola on Tuesday, Kolawole admonished leaders and members of the party to do away with words and actions capable of polarising the party saying efforts geared towards reconciliation should be allowed to bear fruits.

“There is no gainsaying the ruling party has failed abysmally, from security to economy and down to good governance, it’s been all round failure and the only glimmer of hope left for the downtrodden Nigerians is the Peoples Democratic Party, we therefore cannot afford to allow personal interests distract us from a duty to salvage the Nigerian people, the statement read.
Congratulating Ekiti people for witnessing another December against all odds, the PDP Chairman prayed the new month will be for them a December to remember for good.
