The lawyers are angry over failure to pay their legal fees, after labouring hard to get them off the hook at the election petitions tribunal.

The affected National Assembly members were said to have stopped responding to phone calls and text messages from the lawyers.
According to a source within the Party secretariat in Ado Ekiti, the two law firms -Akin & Salau Chambers, Lagos and an Ilorin based O. B. Balogun and Co, have served a letter of demand on the party, seeking for payment from the APC and its leaders.
According to sources close to the lawmakers, they are said to be claiming to be so broke, having borrowed so much to fund their elections in 2019.
