[VIDEO] Lagos PDP LG Chairmen, Others pass vote of confidence on Deji Doherty
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Local Government chairmen in Lagos State have passed a vote of confidence on the State Chairman of the party, Engr. Adedeji Doherty.
The chairmen, in their meeting on Wednesday, also declared their unflinching support and loyalty to the State Executive Committee led by Engr. Doherty.
The Local Government party chairmen included Muka Popoola (Agege), Mathew Agbogunde (Ajeromi/Ifelodun), Abass Sholagbade (Alimosho), Akanni Alebiosu (Amuwo Odofin), Mike Kolawole (Alapa), Bidemi Akojenu (Badagry), Kehinde Fasasi (Eti Osa) and Ajayi Adetola (Epe).
Others are; Hammed Lukmon (Ibeju-Lekki), Engr. Benjamin Akinsanya (Ifako-Ijaiye), Dayo Fagbemi (Ikeja), Taiwo Adekogbe (Ikorodu), Kunle Koya (Kosofe), Rotimi Kujore (Lagos Island), Ola Alimi (Mainland), Fatai Adele (Mushin), Sunday Olaifa (Oshodi Isolo), Adio (Ojo), Niyi Oshibelekun (Shomolu) and Adeoye Kamoru (Surulere).
Also, the majority of the party’s Non State Working Committee Exco members declared their support for the chairman.
“We the underlisted members of the Non SWC of the State Executive Committee (EXCO) of PDP hereby pass a vote of confidence on the leadership of Engr Adedeji Doherty in his capacity as the chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos State chapter.
“We also seize this opportunity to pledge our unflinching support and loyalty to him for the progressive and responsive leadership he has displayed since the inception of the present administration in Lagos PDP,” the resolution read.
