Liverpool could be denied their first ever Premier League title in over years 30 should the English football season be cut short due to the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus epidemic.

The Reds currently sit atop of the English topflight table with 79 points – 22 points better than the defending champions Manchester City after 27 matches. With 11 games to wrap the ongoing season up, the Merseyside will need at least four more wins to be crowned winners before May. However, the Anfield outfit is unsure if they would be crowned champions for the 2019-20 season if the league ends abruptly as reported by Daily Mail quoting the Telegraph.
