No fewer that five people have been killed in an auto crash that occurred at Awoyaya KM 17 Ife garage, Ondo in Ondo west local government area of Ondo state.

The auto crash left another two people injured, though eight occupants were said to be on board, whereabouts of the remaining one is not known yet.

The accident was said to have occurred at around 4am on Sunday.
Federal road safety commission said, the accident involved a Sharon Volkswagen with registration number; KTU 706BW while the second vehicle, a trailer is said to be on the run.
The deceased have been deposited at the general hospital ondo while the injured are now receiving treatment at the Trauma centre Ondo.
