Update on Boko Haram attack on Buni Gari in Yobe: 8 soldiers killed, Armoured Personnel Carrier, gun truck carted away
Reliable Sources including security forces who were not authotized to talk to the press, today, confirmed that eight soldiers were killed while one Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), one gun truck as well as other military equipment were taken away by the Boko Haram insurgents in the deadly attack and invasion of Military Base on Saturday evening at Buni Gari town of Gujba Local Government area of Yobe State.
The sources revealed to WazobiaReporters that Boko Haram insurgents succeeded by entering military camp at Buni Gari, killing eight military personnel before they retreated back due to quick reinforcement from Airstrikes and HQ 27 Task Force brigade at Buni Yadi which is just about 5km away from the scene.
No details on casualty from the Boko Haram insurgents yet.
