Adeboye said insecurity has become worse, with terrorism and kidnapping spreading from northern Nigeria to parts of the South.

He added that the worsening situation has left many Nigerians questioning where help would come from, despite the identities of some sponsors being widely known.

The cleric disclosed that he discussed the security crisis with President Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu.

He advised the President to give the military a 90-day deadline to end terrorism or resign, while also directing security agencies to go after those financing and supplying armed groups.

Adeboye said ending insecurity requires dealing with the sponsors, whom he described as influential politicians and businesspeople.

He also urged the United States and other countries to work with Nigeria in tackling terrorism and restoring peace across the country.
