Represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, he inaugurated the completed township roads on Monday, describing the project as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda to modernise the Federal Capital Territory.
Tinubu said the upgraded roads would reduce traffic congestion, shorten travel time and create better conditions for businesses to grow.
He added that the project reflects his administration’s commitment to extending development to satellite towns where many people live and work.
The President praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for driving infrastructure projects across Abuja and also commended Abdul-Val Constructions Limited for delivering the work on schedule.
He said the project proved that Nigerian contractors can deliver quality jobs that meet international standards.
Wike said the completed roads have changed the face of Karu and urged residents to appreciate the development.
He also praised the local contractor for remaining committed despite funding delays.
The FCT Administration added that the new roads now provide quicker access to the city centre, with the journey taking less than 10 minutes.
