Peoples Democratic Party National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu has declared that he is next in line to govern Imo State.

He made the statement on Saturday in Owerri during the inauguration of the “Polling Unit Movement for Sam Daddy” support group.

Anyanwu said leadership in the state had moved from Ikedi Ohakim to Emeka Ihedioha and now Hope Uzodimma. He argued that it was now his turn to take over the governorship.
The PDP chieftain used the event to strengthen support for his political ambition ahead of the next governorship contest.
