Abia APC Pressures Otti To Declare Tinubu Support

The All Progressives Congress in Abia State has called on Governor Alex Otti to openly state his political position ahead of the 2027 general elections, insisting that he should clarify where his loyalty lies.

The party, through its spokesperson Uche Aguoru, accused the governor of trying to maintain support from opposition groups while also appearing friendly with the Federal Government led by President Bola Tinubu.

The APC also pointed to Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State as an example, noting that he has publicly declared support for President Tinubu’s re-election.
It said openness in political position reflects consistency and honesty in leadership.
The party further claimed that Otti avoids openly engaging federal delegations and does not give full credit to federal projects in Abia.
It urged him to clearly state his position, while reaffirming its own commitment to winning elections in the state.
