The event took place at the Airport Road also known as Bill Clinton Drive, leading to the Tungan Madaki community, as part of the administration’s third-year project commissioning activities.
Representing President Tinubu at the ceremony, Akpabio described the President as a leader focused on delivering public projects across the country.
He also commended Wike for his active role in infrastructure development in the capital city, noting the pace of work under his supervision in the FCT.
He expressed confidence in the quality of the newly constructed road, stating that it was built to last for many years without major damage.
Drawing from past experience with the contractor, he suggested that the road could remain in good condition for decades due to the standard of work carried out.
Akpabio further praised the construction firms handling federal projects and pointed to Wike’s record in previous public office as evidence of his capacity.
He also noted the ongoing wave of project commissioning in Abuja, describing it as part of a broader effort to improve infrastructure across the territory.
