The President, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, said development in the capital depends on cooperation between government and citizens.

Tinubu said the road project shows his administration’s commitment to completing projects without delays, noting that it was designed, funded and delivered under his leadership.

He added that the corridor will ease traffic, improve movement and support business growth across key districts in Abuja.

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike said the project is part of a wider infrastructure drive under the current administration, adding that more roads and public works are being completed across the territory.

He also praised contractors and defended the handling of compensation for affected property owners during construction.
