Officials of the commission carried out the enforcement exercise in Abuja after investigations into the complaints.

The agency said the companies allegedly failed to respond properly to issues raised by customers.

The commission explained that the move was aimed at protecting consumers and ensuring businesses comply with existing regulations.

Authorities also warned firms against ignoring lawful directives from regulatory agencies.

The crackdown comes amid growing concerns over activities in the real estate sector, especially complaints involving property transactions and customer rights.

The commission said further action could follow if violations continue.
