House of Representatives aspirants on the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress said on Friday that Peter Obi would face removal by Nigerians if he becomes president in 2027 and fails to meet public expectations.

The comments were made during a press briefing in Abuja alongside the Coalition for the Protection of Democracy.

The aspirants also backed a possible alliance between Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso ahead of the 2027 elections.
