Human rights lawyer Femi Falana has said residents of Lagos are free to move during the monthly sanitation exercise, arguing that there is no law backing any restriction.

He spoke as the exercise is set to hold on April 25 between 6:30am and 8:30am.

He maintained that participation remains voluntary and that people can go about their daily activities without fear.
