No Plan For Single Party Ballot – Tinubu’s Aide
Sunday Dare has said there is no plan to have only the All Progressives Congress on the ballot in the 2027 elections.
He spoke during a television appearance while reacting to recent protests by the African Democratic Congress.
He explained that multiple political parties are active in the country and free to operate.
According to him, the ruling party cannot be blamed for internal crises affecting opposition groups.
The clarification follows the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission to suspend recognition of ADC leadership factions due to court rulings and disputes within the party.
The ADC had described the move as an attempt to block its chances in the 2027 election.
Dare maintained that political space remains open, noting that opposition parties and the media continue to operate freely.
He added that building a strong political platform requires effort and organisation, not blame.
