Wike said Abuja’s fast growth requires modern solutions, especially in smart city technology, green energy, and infrastructure development.

He noted that the FCT administration is ready to work with Finnish experts to drive these changes.

A major focus of the meeting was waste management, with the minister stressing the need for better systems to handle the city’s growing waste challenges.

He invited capable firms to partner with the government in delivering efficient solutions.

Selin said Finland is ready to support Nigeria’s digital growth, pointing to recent agreements on innovation and technology.

She added that Finland’s strength in waste management, water systems, and circular economy could help shape Abuja’s development.

The partnership is expected to strengthen ties between both countries while supporting efforts to modernise the capital city.
