All Progressives Congress figures backing Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji have claimed that Bola Tinubu will not support the re-election of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke ahead of the August 15 governorship poll.

They also alleged that earlier moves by Adeleke to join the APC were rejected.
According to the statement, Oyebamiji recently met with the president and presented plans aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in education, agriculture, and infrastructure.
The group argued that Tinubu would rather support a candidate with clear policy direction.
The APC camp also criticised the Adeleke government over rising education costs in state institutions, claiming the fees are too high and could weaken efforts to make education more accessible.
