Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has added a third Guinness World Record to her achievements after setting the record for the largest serving of rice.

The new milestone was confirmed after a review of her previous attempt in June, when she prepared the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice.

During the assessment, Guinness World Records recognised that the feat also qualified as the largest serving of rice overall, awarding her the additional record.
The chef shared her excitement on Instagram, describing the recognition as completely unexpected. She reflected on the achievement as a reminder of God’s faithfulness and a meaningful way to begin the new year.
Guinness World Records also credited food brand Gino as co-holder of the record, noting that the massive serving weighed 8,780 kilograms and was prepared in Victoria Island, Lagos, on September 12, 2025.
This marks Baci’s third world record, following her first in May 2023 for the longest individual cooking marathon and her second in September 2025 for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice. Her previous attempt attracted celebrities, dignitaries, and members of royalty at Eko Hotels and Suites.
