The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has said the alleged disappearance of N128 billion in the power sector did not happen during his time in office, stressing that the matter relates to a period before his appointment.

The issue concerns claims raised by the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project about funds linked to the Ministry of Power and the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Plc, based on findings in the 2022 Auditor General’s report.
