Wike said Rivers politics has moved beyond party labels and is now driven by unity around a shared goal, noting that no other state has achieved a similar level of cooperation ahead of the next general election.
He explained that the strength of the Rivers alliance comes from years of collaboration among political actors, which has helped the state remain firm despite pressure and internal challenges.

The former governor warned against complacency, saying past political mistakes had taught valuable lessons and that future decisions would be guided by clarity, discipline, and resolve.
Wike also praised Rivers residents for backing Tinubu when many doubted his chances, adding that their support reflects the same commitment now seen in his work as FCT minister and urging Nigerians to stand by leadership that delivers results.
