Muslim Philanthropist Hosts Christmas Concert in Adamawa

A Muslim philanthropist, Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, sponsored a Christmas concert for Christians in Adamawa State, bringing together worshippers, church leaders, and choirs from different denominations in a shared celebration of faith and unity.

The event held in Numan and Michika local government areas during the Christmas season, drawing bishops, pastors, choir groups, and families who gathered for songs, worship, and messages centred on love and peace.
The concert was organised under the A.B. Haske Foundation and featured carols, sermons, and joint worship sessions that turned the venues into meeting points for Christians from across the two councils and neighbouring communities.

Haske was represented at the programme by former lawmaker Lumsambani Mijah Dilli, who explained that the initiative was meant to bring people together across religious lines and strengthen peaceful coexistence in the state.

Organisers said the programme was designed to unite Christians beyond denominational identity, creating a single space for shared worship and fellowship, while also offering practical support through food items and cash distributed at the end.
Participants described the concert as uplifting and reassuring, noting that the gesture showed unity in action and left families returning home with songs, shared meals, and a renewed sense of community across faiths.
